Police execute search warrant, seize 4,503 contraband cigarettes
A 40-year-old man faces charges under federal and provincial legislation after Annapolis RCMP seized more than 20 cartons of contraband cigarettes from a Lawrencetown residence Tuesday.
Annapolis RCMP and its Street Crime Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at the home and seized 4,503 contraband cigarettes.
Const Mike Fewer said the man was released from custody and will appear at Annapolis Royal provincial court on May 5.
